MEMORIAL LILIES –Altar flowers for Easter Sunday. We are again going to have lilies for the altar flowers Easter Sunday. Please have them to the Church by Thursday, April 1st by noon. They should be wrapped in green foil.
Get information about memorial/in honor information to Connie in the office by March 29 so the names can be included in the bulletin on Easter Sunday or Jo Anne Beezley, flower coordinator. Heifer International – a special offering will be taken Easter Sunday. Please make out checks to FUMC and mark them for Heifer International. Since 1944, Heifer International has worked to bring help, healing and hope to millions of impoverished families worldwide. Your gift will help Heifer reach men, women, and children who are on the brink of starvation and help them raise livestock and grow crops to provide sustainable sources of food and income. Wesley House needs: “Best Choice” brand labels, a collection box is in the narthex (Label to include UPC bar code and words “Best Choice”. Also blankets are needed.
Wesley House’s Feinstein Challenge will be March and April. The Feinstein Foundation will add to our donations. For details go to www.feinsteinfoundation.org.
DVDs of the Sunday Service are available in the office. If you know of someone who is unable to attend the Sunday service, please stop by the office and pick up a DVD.
